Publications: Common Ground Magazine
From 1974 to 1976, Crossroads Resource Center published a pioneering magazine, Common Ground, that allowed neighborhood residents to know more about the local heritage of the Twin Cities, to weigh the breaking issues of the era, and to communicate directly with each other, grassroots to grassroots. The magazine was founded by Lynn Hinkle, Meri Golden, and Ken Meter.
Reading Common Ground is an excellent way to understand citizen efforts of the 1970s from the perspective of those who led the way. The magazine combined solid writing, thoughtful analysis, and beautiful artwork.
